When John O’Connell, Dealer Principal at Senator Windows Limerick heard that “DIY SOS – The Big Build” was coming to Limerick to help The Mulcahy Family from Annacotty, he jumped at the chance to get involved.

There was a fantastic turnout and show of support in Limerick and the mission was to transform this home and the lives of those who live here in just nine days. Thursday 20th February 2020 marked the Big Reveal to the Mulcahy Family. An army of tradesmen and volunteers soaked up the atmosphere on this special day and in between the hail showers, the sun shone brightly on everyone.

John O’Connell said “It was great to see an army of volunteers from our local community come together for a common purpose. Our windows fitters and all the other volunteers worked with such enthusiasm to change the lives of the Mulcahy family forever.

Jane Crosbie, Marketing Manager added “Senator Windows was delighted to be part of this fantastic project and the sense of achievement by the end of day one was heart-warming for John and his team. We wish Amy and her family all the best for the future and I can’t wait to see the programme when it airs later this year on RTE. Well done to Baz Ashmawy, the purple shirts and all involved.”
