CUSTOMISE YOUR FRENCH WINDOW
Look at a home fitted with Senator Windows, the first thing you will notice is the homeowner’s choice of style, colour and finish. But there’s also a range of optional features beneath that sleek, elegant surface. Just choose the combination of features that looks and functions best for each, individual room in your home.
ScreenLine® Integrated Blinds offer a great many benefits as well as the privacy, shade and protection from sunlight that you expect from a quality blind. The blind is sandwiched between two panes of glass, so it’s protected from dust and weather, making it entirely maintenance-free. Its excellent light and solar control characteristics mean you can vary the angle of your blinds as you want.
The easy-clean ‘egress’ hinge has two advantages: It facilitates easy and safe cleaning, and it allows the window to be used as an emergency exit. In the ‘egress’ position it becomes an exit then, when the hinge is released, the sash/opening can be moved into the easy-clean position. When you’re finished cleaning, simply close the sash/opening and the hinge automatically resets.
Senator uPVC French Windows can be fitted with a safety catch if specified. This safety catch allows you to open the window wide enough for ventilation but not wide enough to compromise security or child safety. In case of emergency, restrictors can be released as a means of escape. And as the restrictor is fitted between the sash and frame, there are no unsightly attachments visible on the main surfaces of the window.
All Senator products are designed and manufactured with safety, durability, efficiency and security in mind. In some situations, however, you may want additional peace of mind. Senator uPVC French Windows are designed to accommodate high-security shootbolt locking mechanisms. The shootbolt’s additional locking points, at the top and bottom of the French, give it added strength, making it even more secure and reliable.
Whatever the location and style of your home, there is a colour and finish to suit it – 18 colours in all. And you can mix and match, with one colour on the outside and another on the inside. Likewise you can have different finishes to your French Windows, wood grain on the outside and smooth white on the inside, for example, giving you even more versatility and choice.
