As a first step, we can provide a guideline quotation based on the measurements or images you supply. This will give you an indication of the approximate cost for supply and fit, before any optional upgrades. While this is a helpful starting point, it is only an estimate. Your final quotation will be confirmed following a full consultation to understand your exact requirements and a detailed site survey.

Consultation

After exploring what Senator can offer, you can discuss your vision in a showroom or at your home. Your representative will help you choose materials, styles, and features, while noting factors like light, noise, and window orientation. Taking time to select the right options ensures long-term comfort, efficiency, and satisfaction. Once your requirements are confirmed, a detailed quotation will be prepared and sent to you.

Survey & Measure

Once details are fine-tuned and when you are happy with the prepared quotation, the next stage is order confirmation. Once confirmation is received, your Senator representative will organise a complete survey of your home to take precise production measurements. Contracts are prepared and signed, and an agreed deposit is due to be paid.

Custom Manufacturing

Once your order is signed off, it goes to the experienced team in Wexford to be crafted. This process takes as little as a few short weeks, depending on factors, such as the complexity and quantity of the windows and doors you have ordered. Unique designs may take a little bit longer, but when you consider how long your products are going to last, what’s a little extra time to get it just right?

Professional Installation

Once a date for installation has been agreed, you will be notified and balance payments will be due in line with your contract. When installation day arrives, the team work until the job is complete. With all the groundwork done in our initial surveys, the work on site is swift and smooth, with little or no disruption to your home and all waste removed on completion.

Do I need to have exact measurements before getting a quote?

No, exact measurements aren’t required to receive an initial quote. We can provide a guide price based on approximate measurements or photos of your windows and doors, giving you a good indication of the likely cost for supply and installation before any optional upgrades are considered. Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll arrange a consultation to discuss your requirements in more detail, followed by a site survey to take precise measurements and prepare your final quotation. Can I change my mind on colours or styles after placing my order?

We understand that choosing the right colours and styles is an important decision, and sometimes preferences can change after an order has been placed. Any requested changes are assessed on a case-by-case basis and will depend on whether manufacturing has already begun and the extent of the changes involved. While we will always do our best to accommodate amendments wherever possible, we recommend taking the time to finalise your choices before placing your order to help avoid any delays or additional costs.

Will installation cause a lot of disruption to my home?

We work hard to make the installation process as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Thanks to the detailed planning and surveys completed before installation day, our experienced team can carry out the work efficiently and with minimal disruption to your daily routine. We take care to keep your home tidy throughout the installation and, once the work is complete, all old frames, glass and waste materials are removed and disposed of, leaving your home clean and ready to enjoy.

What does the 15-year guarantee actually cover?

All Senator uPVC and aluminium windows and doors come with a 15-year guarantee*, giving you added confidence and peace of mind when investing in your home. The details of what is included are set out in the guarantee terms and conditions. If you would like to know more, your local Senator dealer will be happy to talk you through the guarantee and answer any questions you may have. *The 15-year guarantee is subject to terms, conditions and exclusions.

Can I phase the work - for example, replace windows now and doors later?

Yes, absolutely. Many homeowners choose to spread the work over different phases, often for budgeting or scheduling reasons. Some prefer to replace their doors first and upgrade their windows later, while others choose to complete the front of the house before moving on to the back. Although there can be cost savings from carrying out the entire project at once, we’re happy to work around your priorities and budget. We can create a phased installation plan that suits your needs and allows improvements to be completed at a pace that works for you.
