Senator was founded in 1985. It is one of the leading PVC window, door and conservatory manufacturers in Ireland. It is the only replacement window company in Ireland that operates nationwide, both North and South and has a successful network of over 30 franchise dealers and branches all over Ireland. For over twenty years, Senator has been at the forefront of quality manufacturing. Over this time, Senator has been awarded Agrément Board Certification, ISO 9001:2000, the Q Mark, the BSI Kite Mark and many more accolades for quality. Some of our major achievements:

• In 1987, we were the first company in Ireland to introduce safety glass as standard in all our patio doors, long before legislation insisted that this should happen.
• In 1989, we became the first Irish window company to be awarded Irish Agrement Board Certification for the quality of our windows.
• In 1991, we became the first window company in Ireland to be awarded ISO 9002 for our quality management system and also that year the Q mark.
• In 1992 we became the first window company to introduce K-glass as standard in all windows. 11 years later, in 2003, it has become law as part of the Building Regulations.
• In 1998 we became the first window company in the Republic of Ireland to have our products certified by the British Standards Institute - the coveted Kite Mark.
• In 2001 we were chosen by Pilkington to be the first window company in the world to introduce Pilkington Activ Self-Cleaning Glass to the market.In 2005.
• Senator became the first and only window company to have its window officially certified by the British Fenestration Rating Council. A "C" rating was achieved.
• In 2007 Senator announced that they could now offer a "B" as well as an "A" rated window.
• In 2007 Senator doors were certified to the stringent PAS 24 security for doors.
• In 2009 Senator announced that they were now offering A rated casement windows as standard
